Jamie Kerestes is the Clinical and Field Experience Coordinator at 糖心Vlog. In this role, she works with students, faculty, and clinical partners to coordinate clinical placements and support meaningful, high-quality experiential learning opportunities. Jamie is passionate about helping students connect classroom learning to real-world practice and ensuring they are well-prepared for success in clinical environments.
Jamie brings a diverse background in nursing, instructional design, and higher education to her work. She has experience in teaching English as a second or other language in the United States and abroad. She also worked in student success, where she has supported students in developing the skills and confidence needed to persist in rigorous academic healthcare programs. Her nursing experience includes work with informatics, shaping her interest in the intersection of technology, education, and nursing.
Jamie received her Master of Education from the University of Delaware, her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of New Mexico, and her Associate Degree in Nursing from Central New Mexico Community College. Jamie received her Bachelor of Arts in International Journalism and Peace and Global Studies from Augsburg University. She is currently completing her Doctor of Education at the University of North Dakota with a focus on nursing workforce development.
Jamie is married and the mother of two children. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, spending time with her family, and supporting her children鈥檚 activities. She is excited to support nursing students as they grow in confidence and prepare to enter the rewarding profession.
